Galvanized steel structures (barriers, supports, masts) exhibit high corrosion resistance due to the protective properties of zinc; however, during operation, mechanical damage to the coating, exposure to moisture, salts, and contaminants may occur, which necessitates local repair or additional protection.
For coating over galvanized surfaces, special paint and coating materials with high adhesion are used, including zinc‑compatible epoxy coatings as well as polyurethane and acrylic‑polyurethane enamels as part of coating systems designed to enhance durability and decorative appearance.

The system is used to create a durable adhesion layer when painting galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The adhesion promoters included in Armepox primer 041 ensure reliable bonding of the coating to the substrate.
