ARMOR® BASECOAT 171
Base layer for premium coatings, intended to create an ideal color background in multi‑layer paint systems. Provides excellent adhesion and optical properties for the clear topcoat, creating a uniform and visually striking coating. Designed for even distribution of metallic and pearl effects, ideal for cars, truck cabins, buses and railway vehicles. As part of the modern Armor Basecoat 171 painting system, it ensures uniformity and compatibility with clear coats, guaranteeing durability and enhanced weather resistance.

- Applied to a primed surface;
- Used to create a metallic effect in three‑coat systems;
- Has a short drying time before topcoating with lacquer;
- Addition of the hardener “ARMOPUR” Hardener 1, 3 is permitted up to 5 % to increase mechanical and chemical resistance.
