ARMEPOX® DTM 242 UHS
Two‑component epoxy anti‑corrosion Direct-to-Metal coating with a non‑volatile content of 70 % by volume forms a durable film. Universally applicable — can be used as a primer, intermediate or finish coating. Primarily intended for industrial and protective applications, it is supplied in a semi‑gloss finish (40–60 % gloss) and is color‑matched to the RAL system.

* - for natural drying (temperature 20±2ºC and humidity 65±5%) when pigmented RS pastes are used in a ratio 88+12; - for thermal drying at 60ºC for 30 min when pigmented RS pastes are used in a ratio 88+12 - gloss over 80 %;
- When applied in two layers, it can be used as a standalone coating;
- Can be applied to black metal, aluminum, galvanized steel;
- Zinc phosphate is used as an anticorrosion pigment;
- For producing coatings used under canopies and inside both unheated and heated premises;
- Used as a finish or primer‑finish coating in epoxy systems;
- Used for surfaces subjected to wear and mechanical and/or chemical exposure.
- Solid content of the mixture: 70 ± 2 %.
- Solid content of the base: 65–85 %.
- Mixture density: 1.35–1.45 kg/L.
- Base viscosity: >180 s (DIN4).
- Mixture viscosity: 130–150 s (DIN4).
- Mixture pot life: 4 hours.
- Drying time for a dry film thickness of 50 µm:
- +10 °C:
- Dust resistance: 2 hours
- Touch dry: 6 hours
- Minimum intercoat drying: 2 hours
- +23 °C:
- Dust resistance: 1 hour
- Touch dry: 4 hours
- Minimum intercoat drying: 1 hour
- +35 °C:
- Dust resistance: 30 minutes
- Touch dry: 2 hours
- Minimum intercoat drying: 40 minutes
Complete coating formation: 7 days under natural drying.
Data are given at 65 % relative humidity. Values may change with humidity variations.
